The Trendy K9 is a small locally owned dog grooming shop nestled within the beautiful Adirondack Park of Upstate New York, only ten minutes from Lake George Village and 20 minutes from Saratoga Springs.
The Trendy K9 has only one groomer: and that is me! I have lived in the area for over 25 years, and regularly enjoy the parks and hiking trails with my three Standard Poodles. If you see us out and about, feel free to say hello!
I have over 13 years of experience in grooming dogs of all breeds, sizes, and coat types. So all breeds and sizes are welcome! At The Trendy K9, my goal is to provide compassionate care that meets the needs of each individual pet. There is no “one size fits all” grooming, here!
All pets will be evaluated upon check in, and services will be chosen and tailored to your pet’s individual needs - I can accommodate most requests ranging from de-shedding to medicated shampoos to breed specific haircuts.
All appointments are also now one-on-one, meaning your pet will be the only one I am working on at any given time. This allows me to give your pet breaks, as needed, or even alter how I handle your pet to allow them the most comfort possible.
The only request that I am NOT able to accommodate at this time is allowing pet parents to stay with their pets throughout the service. But rest assured, your pet will be in good hands!
And there is plenty for you to do while you are waiting for me to finish pampering your furry family member: visit the nearby shopping mall, hang out at the outlet malls a few minutes up the road, or shop at any number of nearby stores.
When your pet is all finished, if you’re looking for a treat for them there are several pet friendly places to hang out including parks, pet shops, and ice cream places! Lake George Village is very dog friendly, as well, with several dog friendly shops, dining options, ice cream, and more.
